Two weeks ago there was a lot going on. Max and Is progressed to a new belt in Gumdo AND Isabella won her Student Council election! Go girl!
There are all manner of planes, tanks, etc. Here's a B-52.
Here is Memorial Hall.
The picture in the background is an island off the East Sea (aka Sea of Japan) called Dokdo. It is basically a frikkin rock, but also a point of contention between RoK and Japan. You can buy shirts and see signs saying "Dokdo is Korean Territory!!!!". It's a patriotic issues which, like most patriotic issues, boils down to something unimportant. In this case, it's fishing rights.
Please note, the number of participants per country.
The Museum is actually VERY good and free. It was a fun day which ended with us going to another show called Marionnette. It wasn't the best show we've seen, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
Sunday, we went to the Seoul Museum of Art to see an exhibition of Tim Burton's art and movie memorabilia. If you didn't know, he used to work for Disney animation studios.
You weren't supposed to take pictures, but I was getting irritated so I took a bunch with my phone.
It was packed and this was about as close as I got to most of the art.
Models from the Nightmare Before Christmas.
Edward's Scissorshands.
My kids are really growing up fast!
This week, there is NOT so much going on.
