Last week was Isabella's bridging ceremony for Girlscouts. She is no longer a Brownie, but a Junior Girl Scout. Isabella's Troop leader did a fabulous job coralling all those girls and setting up the this event.
It was a blustery day and Shannon looked fabulous as usual!
We had a great dinner with our friend Erin and her family who were on their way back to the States.
Of course, the old Korean lady stopped to prepare Max's food.
The kids got another belt. Are they supposed to get them this fast?! Max got a brown.
Isabella is one step away from a full black belt, but they decided they'd had enough. No more Gumdo. I have mixed feelings about this. I want them to continue with the lessons, but I don't want to force anything. We said we'd see if they wanted to continue in the fall, but I'm afraid this is it. Apparently Master Ahn did not take the news well as he was counting on the kids to go to the first Martial Arts Olympics this summer. That last conversation was not a good one so I'm glad I wasn't there.

Wow-the kids did really well (Martial Arts). Loved seeing Isabella become a Girl Scout....I used to be a Brownie (quit snickering!)- never made it to Girl Scouts.
