As some of you may know, I made a very short trip to the States to attend my son's wedding.  I am very lucky to be able to make the trip and it was completely worth it.

Joshua and my daughter law, Jessica, were married in Myrtle Beach.  A lot of people didn't know who I was and at least one person thought I was the wedding photographer.  That was too funny.

Proud Papa.

The lady in the middle is Josh's great grandmother and her daughters.  The one in white is Shelby, Josh's Grandma.

Before you knew it, it was "go" time".  Don't faint up there Josh.

Jessica and her father.

Here's the picture I took just for Shannon.  Don't worry babe, they're too young for me!

The reception was in a small town in NC called Lilesville. The food was all homemade and delicious.

The family admiring the book Shannon put together.

Here's where everyone got up to say something.  The first thing I said was "I am not the wedding photographer!" and more than a few people said "Yeah I wondered who he was!"  I was a little conspicuous.  Basically, we all said that we were happy that he finally realized she was the best thing that ever happened to Josh and we were all right.

Here's Jessica's Mom

 Shelby and Jessica's Dad.

I look forward to getting to know Jessica as the years go on.  Welcome to the family daughter-in-law!
