Where to start?!

It's been quite some time since we posted so I'll try and catch up.

After I got back from Charlotte for Josh's wedding, we had a magnificent dinner at our friends' new house.  Amira did an amazing job with dinner cooking a traditional Egyptian meal.  She was in the kitchen for a looong time before she got to relax.  Those recipes were so authentic, they were in Arabic.  There was so much food, I didn't even get to some of the dishes.

View from their new house.  Just lovely.

Another school year passed.  Isabella left the third grade and Ms. Aubel who she's had for the last two years.  Max graduated kindergarten.  We're not sure who Shannon will choose for their teachers yet since we're expecting quite a few new Stateside teachers.

We moved from Osan AB to Cp Humphreys.  Here is the Korean version of a pack out.

Here is the annual Father's Day picture.  These kids are amazing.

We went to the States!  Since I can only stay for three weeks, Shannon decided she would only stay that long as well.  She can't stand to be without me!  The original plan was to have our renters out of the house in Charlotte so we could fix it up.  Long story short, the renters are still there and will be through May 2014.  Kind of disappointing, but at least it's not sitting empty.

Since we weren't worrying about the house, we had time to hang out with some old friends.  We saw Letica and went to the Carolina Raptor Center which is a great facility that takes in birds of prey from all over the country.

We had our annual dinner at Mike and Jen's.  Jen never disappoints and the company was par none.

We hung out at some of our favorite restaurants.

I took the opprtunity to hang out on the Newell's back patio as much as possible.

We visited Super Mom (Aka Allison) a few times.  She is amazing and her kids are cute as can be.  It will be fun to see the their progress each year.

I went to my favorite Indian Restaurant that isn't Mish's house.  I went overborad.

Samosas

Huge Dosa and dhal

Butter chicken with naan.

Manchurian chicken.  It has a fairly large indo-chinese menu.

Next up, swimming, Florida, Charleston, and I gain 10 pounds!
